I love hearing about the crystals you're working with and how they've helped you! I have to say that I am not connecting to my crystals like I used to, but they are an important part of my journey and I'm sure they will continue to be in my life. Lately, I find myself connecting and getting nourishment from poetry.

There's a season for everything. I have only been getting back into my crystals recently, and it's not how I used to work with them. It is now a more passive experience that I reflect on at the end of the lunar cycle. Enjoy the poetry that is entering your life!

To be honest I mainly like crystals because they look pretty 🤩 I do use them in rituals and meditation sometimes but I’ve only ever connected to a few.

My favourite is an obsidian that fits really nicely between my thumb and first two fingers, it helps ground and calm me and it’s the only one that I ever take out with me for if I need protection in the outside world.

I also love my citrine as it is sunshine in a stone, I think that is my Leo Rising calling ☀️

The last one I connect with is Sodalite! It is such a striking stone with the white flecks. I often have it near me when I read or research as I feel it helps my mind be open to creative ideas or I’ll leave it on top of the book that I’m reading.

Absolutely fair! I have a huge collection because they are absolutely STUNNING! I only deeply connected with about a dozen or so, and for me, it's the specific piece that I often connect with best.

Ooooooh, love obsidian and citrine! I want to connect more deeply with obsidian. I used to have a GIANT piece, but I got rid of it when I moved out of my mom's. I had no idea the magic I had. It would cost me a couple hundred to replace the chunk. Whoever found it at Goodwill got the deal of a lifetime, haha.

Citrine has been a many year love affair for me. Once thing that I love about it is that it is self cleansing so it is also cleansing for us. It's like that first warmer sunny day of lat winter when the sun begins to burn away some of that winter depression and stagnancy.

I have yet to deeply connect with sodalite. I love your practice of leaving it on top of a book you're reading. When I was in grad school, I'd put my rainbow fluorites on my computer as I worked.

Thank you for sharing all of this!

Reading through the timeline and journey with crystals is so beautiful. Their being “pretty rocks” aside, I love that you have deep connection, energy, and magic to these crystals.
